Welcome to 2024 The 13th International Conference on Informatics, Environment, Energy and Applications (IEEA 2024), which was held in Tokyo, Japan, during February 21-23, 2024 successfully. It was sponsored by Science and Engineering Institute, USA, assisted by National University of Ireland Galway, Ireland, University of Wollongong, Australia, Tokai University, Japan, Agriculture University, China, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and German University in Cairo, Egypt. IEEA is an annual conference started in Singapore, 2012. Then, it was successfully held in major cities, such as Bali, Shanghai, Pattaya, Hong Kong, Jeju Island, Beijing, Osaka, Amsterdam. It has been attended by more than 500 participants from 20 countries. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we sincerely appreciated all committee members and attendees for the support and contributions to IEEA 2024.

At the second day, the conference started. Prof. Danny Sutanto from University of Wollongong, Australia gave us opening remarks, Prof. Hideki Ochiai from Yokohama National University, Japan delivered welcome address and Prof. Frank Gunzer from German University in Cairo, Egypt gave us program address.
There were two keynote speakers and three invited speakers invited by the conference. Prof. Weerakorn Ongsakul from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand with the keynote speech Smart Grid Development for Carbon Neutral Utilities, Prof. Hideki Ochiai, Yokohama National University, Japan with the keynote speech How to Achieve Best Throughput With High Power Efficiency in Next Generation Wireless Communications, Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, Cyprus University of Technology, Cyprus with invited speech Renewable Energy Systems:Current Status in the World and Prospects, Prof. Satoshi Matsuda, Shizuoka University, Japan with invited speech The Real Goal is not a De-Carbonized Society, but a Society Independent of Fossil Fuels, Prof. Anupam Khajuria, United Nations University, Japan with invited speech Advancing Circular Economy and Sustainable Material Management to Achieve UN SDGs.
There were 4 oral sessions and one poster session of the conferences, the topics including AI based electronic systems and information management, environmental monitoring and quality assessment, waste management and environmental sustainability development, environmental pollution and protection, model based data analysis and predictive calculation.
One best presentation will be selected from
each session, evaluated from: originality;
applicability; technical merit; qualities of
PPT; English. The best one will be announced at
the end of the session.
